Cumberland Valley Amateur Radio Club (CVARC) provides this explanation
of the information collected, and it's use, by this website.

Your Anonymity
The web-host that serves our website automatically collects the following information in summary: your IP address; your browser's and operating system's identification; the referring URL and site; and the words in the search query that may have brought you to the CVARC website. CVARC may use this information to administer and improve our website and to diagnose problems with the web-hosting server. CVARC can not, and does not, attempt to individually identify you from this information.

Member Login
The CVARC website offers information to the general public. Additional information is provided to the club's members. Membership authentication (that is, logging in) does not in any way connect you to the information described above as automatically collected. Membership authentication is used by the website server to deliver additional content to the club's members.

Email Lists
The only email lists that CVARC maintains are the membership roster or contact information for (Emergency Communication) Served Agencies. Neither email list is maintained on the CVARC website. The membership roster is freely available to members only--if a member does not wish certain of their information to be listed, contact a club officer to have that information removed from the list.

Advertisments
Except for the Buy/Sell/Swap area, this site does not carry commercial advertisments for other parties. We may freely promote the activities of neighboring ham's and clubs's; such promotion is at the discretion of the club's officers.
